I left the banter in because I'm a dweeb and boy am I gonna regret it. This was a love song I wrote in the early summer of 2011 about my promise to honour my commitment to a consciously-doomed relationship so long as my partner pulled their weight. I wish I could remember some of these chords because I really like how this one subverts my usual shapes and it'd be neat to dust it off again despite having no remaining emotional attachments to the period that begat it.
