Yep, that's a throwback to Faith in the coda (some of this was written with a concept record in mind - how precious), which was supposed to bridge to a second verse and likely some more song after that, but I never found the right place to take it, so this is either unfinished by some lingering will or concluded by neglect, as sometimes happens; the more I remember it, the more I hope I complete it out of respect to how much I enjoy the rest of it.
